Ebay might be good for off-loading your old Xbox but separately listing all your old CDs is more hassle than its worth.

We've found a site, www.musicmagpie.com, that offers cash for old CDs. Just look up the value of the CDs you want to get rid of by typing in their barcode number (prices vary between 25p and £3) then send them off, freepost, then wait for your cheque to arrive.

Since launching six months ago Music Magpie have paid out over £225,000 to users (on average, £30 per user).
