Bank holiday Mondays mean only one thing to us; the chance to fit in an extra day's raving. And so it is that we will be moving from our usual Saturday night slot to throw what promises to be the best party of the year (so far) as both Mobilee Records’ Ralf Kollmann and Freak n’Chic’s Dyed Soundorom join us at a very special Transient all-dayer at our home the Horse and Groom.
So with final fanfare we bid Transient farewell. And what better way to bow out? Ralf Kollmann is not only one half of the team that runs the musical powerhouse Mobilee Records (the other half being Anja Schneider), but is also rather handy behind the decks. With a monthly residency at Berlin's Weekend nightclub, gigs across Europe and the near legendary Mobilee showcases at both Sonar and the WMC, he's certainly notching up a lot of air miles. However this will be only his second date in London this year and shouldn't be missed.
And he's only one of the guests! Freak n'Chic's Dyed Soundorom is a man who is on the up; fresh from a date alongside Ricardo Villalobos at Fabric and with his first solo EP 'Question' being picked as Mixmag's 'Tune of the Month', 2008 certainly seems to be going pretty, pretty well for him so far.
So join us for a long weekend's added debauchery at what will be the best party of the year (so far).
