Moby, Underworld and Dalai Lama team up for Tibet

As a mark of solidarity with the Dalai Lama and Tibet, 20 world-class artists (including Underworld, Moby, Sting and Imogen Heap) have come together to release 'Songs For Tibet – The Art Of Peace.' The CD also includes a message for peace from the Dalai Lama.

The double album was created on the eve of the Beijing Olympics and its aim is to highlight the plight of the Tibetan people in the West. Tracks include Imogen Heap – 'Hide & Seek 2', Moby – 'We Are All Made Of Stars' (2008) and Underworld – 'To Heal (And Restore Broken Bodies)'

The compilation clearly made its mark, because its creation and release caused the Chinese authorities to temporarily close down all of its music sites, including i-Tunes and Amazon. The compilation is released on November 24th in the UK.
