Ok im quite new to the dance scene and i was recently introduced by a friend of mine to some minmal and i just didnt know what to make of it.
So i went to a gig in a place called Mcgruders (which is probably one of the best underground spots in dublin) to see his friend dj who was actually featured in mix mag a year or so ago.His name was Niall Dunne or "lovetronika" as the duo of Niall and Keane. Niall played minimal and keane was slightly more electro. Now for the minimal sounded great live like that but when i hear at home i just doesnt seem like the music i can remember from the gig. So minimal has me confused! What do yous think?
