ibiza virgin going to get well toasted!! what to expect?

Hi people well in a months time i will be going to ibiza for the first time and man im excited and just doing a post on any tales, tips and recommendations for the place, staying in san antonio at the marco polo II hotel, Man heard it was really expensive, but me not really a drinker, being an old skool raver and that. So whats up?, give us a shout!!
Ta.

I always think there isn't

I always think there isn't much advise you can give someone going to Ibiza!

Went a couple years back and unfortunatly haven't been able to afford to go back since.

But to me it's the kind of place where it's what you make of it. I know thats a bit of crappy advise, anyone got anything better to add?

When I went I crashed at a mate's place out there so I can't really suggest hotels etc as well.

One thing I would say though is if i understand you correctly by being a none drinker and going to get toasted then be careful. I've had a couple mates that have been busted out there as the police know whats going on and they're not stupid.

Have a good one though. Does anyone have any better advise to give Enigma?

Envious...

Wish I could have my first time all over again!

Bit hard to recommend without knowing what kind of music you're into. But as general advice, I'd say... if you're flying out on a Saturday, don't bother going out on the Sat night, it just isn't a bit night on the White Isle. Get some kip, have a good brekkie and save it for Space on the Sunday - which is an absolute must and where everyone's Ibiza experience has to start. If you pay full price (which I wouldn't normally recommend - look for flyers and promotions girls/boys in bars) then you get to collect your wristband, head off to Bora Bora or wherever and come back later (but only one passout is allowed). Make sure you drink enough water - remember this is daytime clubbing in hot hot temperatures. The water can be really expensive but it's really important, heatstroke is no fun for anyone. Don't try to refill your bottle in the bogs, the water will either be salty or hot, and shouldn't be drunk anyway. If you're staying in San An, make sure you don't head home without at least one night out in Ibiza Town - it's beautiful, and very very different from 'The British resort'. What else... don't take your camera to Space, don't drive/scoot post-club and don't argue with the local police, they've got batons and it just ain't worth it. Have fun!

cafe mambo sun set!!!!!!!!!!

do the sun set as often as you like, but make sure you do it properly at least once.

what i mean by properly is, get you selves down there all heir done, dressed up and relaxed with good time to get a table... have some food, drink some wine and enjoy.

you can buy club night tickets down there and there is a buss to pasha/ibiza town too.

PRIVILEGE

Space on sundays is ace especially combined with bora bora but you have to go to privilege on the monday for tiesto. Just got back and that was best night I ever had (i'm not even into trance) the club just blows your socks off. Do sunset at mambo but get beers from the offe and sit on the rocks. Davids italian in san an is spot on for pizza's if you can eat anything. Just a word of warning be carefull out there the place holds a bit of a spell and can kick the fuck out of you!

Peace and have a good un!
