An iPhone app has been created to help the 140,000 descending on Glastonbury next month.

The app allows you to locate yourself on the site map (using the phone’s in-built GPS) and follow it to the various stages, stands etc.

You can signpost your car and your tent and any other useful locations

It lets you select each stage – see the individual line ups and link to iTunes where you can buy the music

It also allows you to create a personal schedule of acts by selecting the bands you want to listen to from each stage.

It will be available two weeks before the festival starts. Great idea, if a bit clinical. Surely getting lost is all part of it?
