Yes, you read that right. Cyndi Lauper - the eighties peroxide pop icon behind 'True Colors' - is following in the footsteps of Donna Summer by releasing a dance record in 2008. But Cyndi has gone one better, working with Axwell on 'Rain On Me' and with Basement Jaxx on the excellent future single 'Rocking Chair'.

The album - 'Bring Ya To The Brink' - is due for release on September 15th. Other collaborators include Dragonette, The Scumfrog, Richard Morel and Kleerup.
