Despite last year's successful event, Berlin's famous Love Parade party will not take place in the city this year, with organisers citing bureaucratic and political differences with Berlin's council.
It will be replaced by the Berliner Dance Parade, AKA the B Parade, taking place on 21 July. The B Parade will basically be a carbon copy of the Love Parade although LP owner Rainer Schalle and founder Dr. Motte will not be involved.
Instead Love Parade organisers are considering a number of other European cities to host the event this year with Cologne and Hamburg rumoured to be in the running.
