Renaissance is proud to announce the launch night of our latest world-wide residency, a bi-monthly event at Cabaret Voltaire in Edinburgh. It's been 2 years since we last ran an event in Scotland and we're looking forward to sampling the fabled Scottish clubbing atmosphere again and bringing you the best names in electronica, kicking off with King Unique on Friday May 9th.

King Unique are Matthew Roberts and Mat "Watkins" Thomas, a pair of studio junkies with a taste for bulldozer beats and sick synthesizers. It'd be easy to spend paragraphs listing this duo's accolades, such as scoring 5 Essential new tunes in 5 months on Pete Tong's Essential Selection or perhaps their remix discography which reads like a who's who of the music industry. It'd be easy to do that but we think it'd be better to let their music do the talking. Their jab dropping decks 'n' fx DJ sets have headlined them at top clubs and festivals across the globe, their four-armed, twin-headed, single-minded mash-ups are truly a spectacle, not to be missed.
