BreakspollMixmag has a medium sized hangover after last night's Breakspoll, otherwise known as the Breaks Awards.

Big winners on the night included Plump DJs who scooped three awards including Best Big Night for Eargasm.

Krafty Kuts decided to pull out of the race for Best DJ and instead presented the award to The Stanton Warriors.

ILS won Best Album for 'Paranoid Prophets', Fingerlickin Records won Best Label, Atomic Hooligan won Best Live Act, Mixmag fave Alex Metric won Best Breakthrough Producer, Know How Records won Best Retailer, Annie Nightingale picked up Best Radio Show, Nuskoolbreaks.com won Best Radio and Best Website.

The Outstanding Contribution to Breaks was won by Paul Arnold of Chew the Fat. Paul, who is suffering with leukemia, couldn't make the show but close friends told us he is on the mend but still has a long way to go. We wish him all the best.
