Cocoon returns with its annual Ibiza season mix series, this time helmed by Monday night guest stars Joris Voorn and Cassy. Rejected boss Voorn kicks off on a melodic tip on CD1. Meandering through the deep end of house and tech-house, the 30 tracks are seamlessly mixed, epic cuts by Matthew Dekay & Lee Burridge and Oxia inspiring thoughts of sunsets and poolside lounging. Heading straight for the dancefloor, Panoramabar resident Cassy presents a dark, on-point trip through dubby, no-nonsense techno with meaty basslines, opting for Pearson Sound, Cavalier and – three times! – Londoner Mr G. Together the two CDs tap into the current mood, making this possibly the best non-Sven episode on the Cocoon series to date.
