There’s a case for claiming that Mixmag’s DJ of the Year is currently the biggest name on the house circuit. To coincide with an Ibiza season he’s likely to be the toast of, Crosstown have put together 12 productions the Welshman had been holding back. Well-spun jams, including ‘Paradise’, ‘Somewhere’ and ‘Frequencies’, should be familiar to his sizable fanbase, while ‘City At Night’, ‘Mari 2d Underground’ and ‘Tonight In Tokyo’ are much newer. It’s hard to envisage any of these tracks being pinpointed by future generations as the catalyst of an artistic movement, but judged within their purposed context, they make for sure-fire party ammunition.
